ESU Summer Academy 2025
The European Seniors’ Union is proud to announce the 16th Summer Academy, focusing on the theme:
“Demographic Changes in Europe – Challenges for European Governance.”
As Europe faces significant demographic shifts, their impact on economies, healthcare systems, infrastructure, and governance cannot be ignored. While some regions grapple with population decline, others experience growth, highlighting the diverse challenges across Europe. Addressing these trends is essential to ensuring a fair, sustainable, and resilient society for future generations.
Over two days, experts, speakers, and senior representatives will come together to explore key aspects of demographic change, including:
- The role of digital developments in an ageing society,
- Health care challenges and solutions,
- The financial and economic position of older persons, and
- Promoting political participation from a value-based perspective.
This year’s Summer Academy is supported by the EPP and the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies. It is a unique opportunity to learn, exchange best practices, and collaborate on the pressing issues of demographic change in Europe.
Join us in Veldhoven to shape the dialogue and strengthen our collective response to these challenges!
