National meeting ‘Generation 60+’ in Bozen/ Bolzano

On 4 April 2023, An Hermans and Guido Dumon were invited in Südtirol. After a break of more than three years due to the pandemic, a national meeting of the SVP Seniors’ Movement, now called ‘Generation 60+’ took place at the Kolpinghaus in Bozen/ Bolzano.

It was an election congress: the whole new board and delegates of Generation 60+ were newly elected and the ambition of both the seniors and the party was highlighted. There was a good atmosphere at the national meeting of the 60+ generation, which had the simple motto “Together”. Numerous elected representatives and also many friends from abroad mingled. The re-elected President Otto von Dellemann called for always looking ahead with optimism. Our ESU Presidium member Christine von Stefenelli was elected as vice-president.

An Hermans called for continued cooperation and thanked for the seniors’ engagement. “Across borders, we bring seniors together. We bring the experience, the commitment, and the needs of seniors to the attention of the European public. With respect for differences and traditions in member states and regions.” Please find her full speech here.

It was a special stay in Bozen, with the new spring in the air and a warm welcome from Christine von Stefenelli.
